FFA/FGA Etched Brass Wagon Kit

CC01K - Not currently available.

Finescale etched brass kit for FFA / FGA (design codes FF001D/FG004E) Container Flats.
Available for P4, EM or OO in 2, 4, or 5 wagon sets.
Truly prototypical, these wagons will run on track radii down to a minimum of 3 foot due to restrictions with wheel and bar coupler clearances.
Etched brass frame (with option to fit splash plates as originally built, up to mid 1980’s), rigid bar coupler, and loose screw couplings (as on the prototypes). Sprung Oleo buffers with brass shanks and steel heads.
Pewter brake fittings (air reservoir, distributor, and variable load valves), and container twistlocks (with option of MkI or MkII types)
Etched brass sprung bogie frames (including the visible brake beams), with pewter side frames (a mix of 4 visibly different variants of the Ride Control MkIII). A further bogie option, available in limited quantities, is the F/L1.
Kit is inclusive of specially manufactured finescale Kean Maygib wheels fitted with stainless steel disc brake inserts on both inner and outer faces. 78 page instruction manual.
